Saturday 24th September saw the Kingsgrove community and friends come together on site for a sunny, warm day of activities, fun and engagement with the St Modwen team. Residents were invited to have their say on the future of Kingsgrove’s Central Park after they had their faces painted or had tried their hand at a number of family friendly games.
Enthusiasm and passion for the Kingsgrove community were the hallmarks of the Central Park consultation, and we were blown away by the level of participation and feedback with more than 200 participants. The consultation provided opportunities for attendees to design their own playground using to-scale replicas of the play equipment space as well as opportunities to vote for both the types of play equipment that will be delivered in the park and preferred uses for the community garden, sports facilities and skatepark.
Voting occurred via twelve interactive exhibition boards alongside a feedback form; the boards can be downloaded by clicking HERE.
We are keen to hear your thoughts about what you would like to see in your community’s Central Park. Please have your say on this before the consultation closes on 21st October by filling out the feedback form HERE or by emailing us at community@kingsgrovewantage.co.uk.
