Oaky Inky Fun

Oaky Inky Fun

As part of Artist Kerry Lemon’s series of artworks and events at Kingsgrove, ‘Oaky Inky Fun’ is a collaboration with local creatives Jules Bishop and Raluca Grosu inspired by the Family Oak tree.

Jules created a series of handmade drawing inks using the leaves, branches and galls from the Kingsgrove oak tree foraged late last year. These were bottled and sent in a kit containing an info booklet designed by Raluca full of Jules’ ink recipes and Kerry’s drawing ideas. The kits were delivered to a range of local schools and community groups to help local residents get creative and connect to the beautiful nature abundant on site.

We’re delighted to now share the booklet so that more people can get creative and we’d love to see your drawings! Please share your artwork on social media by adding the hashtag #ORCHARDkerrylemon and your work could feature on the Kingsgrove Newsletter and Facebook page.
